Dilly Beans!

If you know me, you know I LOVE Dilly Beans!  We even have a dog (Adele) whose nickname is Dilly Bean…Jars of these don’t last very long around here!  Before I eat all of them myself, I try to give them to friends and family (or at least share a jar with them).  Dilly beans are so easy to make too!  The recipe I used was from my favorite canning resource book, “Putting Food By”.  Because they’re pickled you can do these in a quick water bath.  However, I’ve also seen recipes for quick dilly beans that you store in the fridge for up to 6 months!  Here are my step-by-step photos of the super easy process.  Now go make some!

The only other ingredient I usually use that isn’t shown here is mustard seed!
